Speculoos

Speculoos, that classic traditional Belgian biscuit particularly popular around Saint Nicolas/Sinterklaas, but also served on many occasions to accompany a cup of coffee, tea or hot chocolate all year around. This is a revisited version of an old childhood recipe.

Wheat flour - butter - brown sugar - milk - water - spices (cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, clove) - sel de Guérande - baking powder
