This week’s Sweety is a small rice pie. Rice pie is a traditional Belgian product, originally from Verviers. I make it with puff pastry and keep it very natural with real vanilla, no pudding powder, and no colorants. It’s one of my favorite treats. It should be kept outside of the fridge.
Wheat flour - water - milk - butter (AOP Poitou-Charente) - eggs - cane sugar - rice - Sel de Guérande - vanilla pod - corn starch
